Beat Feuz made his mark on the World Cup in a big way to wrap up the 2010-2011 season, going straight from never having podiumed in a World Cup to winning the downhill in Kvitfjell. He was third in the following downhill the very next day, then started the 2011-2012 season on fire, landing on the downhill podium in both Lake Louise and Beaver Creek, then again in the Beaver Creek super G and won the super G in Val Gardena. He is quickly moving up the ranks as one of Switzerland's most consistent speedsters.
