Adrien Theaux joins HEAD
HEAD announces that one of France’s leading speed ski racers is joining the World Cup Rebels for the forthcoming season: Adrien Theaux of Val Thorens has signed a two-year contract with HEAD.
The 29 year old has won two World Cup downhill races in his career, in 2011 at Lenzerheide and in 2013 at Kvitfjell, and has been on the podium eight times in the speed events. He hopes to be challenging for more World Cup race wins next season.
“The decision of Adrien to join the successful HEAD World Cup Rebels is further proof that our products are at the forefront of the field on the World Cup,” said HEAD CEO Johan Eliasch. “I look forward to seeing Adrien joining the rest of our phenomenally talented and successful speed racers battling it out for victory.”
Theaux commented on his decision to join the number one brand in the speed races over the last four years.
“After four years and my first podiums in the World Cup, it’s with great pleasure that I join the big HEAD family,” said Theaux. “I am very pleased to continue my progress towards regularity and tops with this great team! See you on HEAD skis!”
Theaux joins Johan Clarey, Cyprien Richard, and Mathieu Faivre from France on HEAD skis and boots. Ever since the end of the season and Alexis Pinturault's parting ways with Salomon it has rumored that he may also be joining the brand for the upcoming season, an announcement is expected soon.
