Men's alpine ski team to train with Canadian Ultimate fighter Nick Ring

Members of Canada's men's alpine ski team will begin official dryland training this week in Calgary, AB.

National team ski racers including 2010 overall super-G Crystal Globe winner Erik Guay, World Cup super-G and downhill winner Manuel Osborne-Paradis, 2009 World downhill champion John Kucera and several others will participate in an intense training session Thursday with Canadian Ultimate fighter Nick "The Promise" Ring.

Dryland training for Canada's alpine ski teams got underway this week in preparation for the World Cup season, which will be highlighted by the 2011 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Garmisch-Partenkirken, GER next February.
