Fabienne Suter not to New Zealand
Fabienne Suter (25) has cancelled the trip to the training camp in New Zealand. Suter who place fourth in the Olympic giant slalom is still trying to recover from her sprained ankle that she injured two months ago playing volleyball. The recovery takes longer than expected.
The Schwyzerin has decided, in consultation with the coaches, to give up the trip to the other end of the world and to get ready for the World Championships winter on the native glaciers with the convalescent Fränzi Aufdenblatten.
The twelve Swiss who had traveled to New Zealand will train the next three weeks in the ski resorts Round Hill, Cornet Peak and Mount Hutt.
