Fan club time for Jean Baptiste Grange and Adrien Theaux
In the wake of the 61st instructors Challenge with Alex Anselmet, the new local hero winning, Jean-Baptiste Grange’s fan club continued the celebration on Saturday night at Valloire in honor of the slalom world champion. After an amazing appearance, the left shoulder in a sling on Friday night for the bib draw, but of course not participating in the slalom on Saturday to go easy on his joint that is still painful, JB has once again been able to measure his popularity.
Adrien Theaux made a small trip to the Jura and the city of St. Claude, which is where his mom is from to thank her fan club; a fan club of over 500 members with one third being of the Jura, one third of the Pyrenees and one third anywhere of the world including the Savoy and the resort of Val Thorens. A small reception was held in his honor with more than 200 fans. Adrien Theaux was pleased to learn that Lélex posed a new bid for hosting the French Alpine skiing championships in 2014. He has wonderful memories of the reception of the Jura Mountains in 2009 where he had won the super-G as usual.
