Hölzl & Co. extend contracts
Fischer has extended its contracts with the team figureheads. Kathrin Hölzl (GER), Manfred Mölgg (ITA), Georg Streitberger (AUT) and Marc Gini (SUI) will continue to place their trust in the equipment and support from Austria's Innviertel region. The racers have ruled out switching brands this summer.
For Manfred Mölgg there will be only one major change regarding equipment in the upcoming season with its highlight of the World Championships in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. His long-standing service man Stephan Taschler has decided to leave the world of ski racing. However, the big gap he left behind has already been filled by a worthy successor. Michael Mölgg, Manfred's brother, will be joining the South Tyrolean's personal team.
Germany's Katy Hölzl is also set to carry on skiing with equipment from the Ried-based ski specialists and continue the successful partnership. Hölzl, whose star rose in the past two seasons with a World Championship title and the small crystal globe in the 2009l10 Giant Slalom World Cup, has signed for a further two years with Fischer. The same applies to Georg Streitberger and Slalom specialist Marc Gini from Switzerland.
