Leif Kristian Haugen breaks hand in training
For slalom specialist Leif Kristian Haugen, the training camp in Ushuaia, Argentine, did not go completely according to plan. Haugen injured a hand during a training run and had to go to the hospital for a check-up.
The doctors diagnosed a metacarpus fracture which was treated on location. According to the Norwegian, the season opener in Sölden at the 24th of October is not in any danger and he plans to continue the preparations as soon as possible with a special plastic cast.
