As reported by FISI, during las week’s training in Madesimo, Italian Olympic slalom champion Giuliano Razzoli suffered a bilateral contusion-distortion to his shoulders. The right shoulder, which had already been traumatized in the past, was mostly affected.

“I will take a couple of days off because of an injury of the tendon of the superspinatus and long head of biceps,” he explained, ”I am doing intense physiotherapy and tecatherapy. A check up has been scheduled in Milan with the doctors from the Medical Commission, in order to evaluate the situation and plan my comeback to the slopes. For sure, I will not be able to participate in the trainings scheduled in Madesimo this week, but I will work as hard as I can in order to recover as fast as possible.

We wish him a fast recovery and hope to see him back on snow in no time.
