A new coach for the French speed ladies

The French Ski Federation (FFS) announces the team set up for the next Alpine Ski World Cup, with only one notable change, namely Nicolas Burtin becomes the head coach of the ladies speed team.

The former downhiller replaces Laurent Chrétien, who had been dismissed at the end of a season devoid of any podium for the ladies in downhill and super-G. Laurent Chrétien will be one of the coaches of the European Cup ladies team, where the little fireball named Estelle Alphand, the daughter of Luke, is to be found.

On the men's side, Pinturault Alexis, the double junior world champion in giant slalom, who also won the European Cup standings in 2011, was integrated in the technical group as expected.
