Olivia Bertrand retires
Olivia Gallay Bertrand, member of the French ladies' team, has announced retirement from competitive sport. The young promising athlete injured herself seriously during the preparations in Ushuaïa in August 2010, and unfortunately never found back to her form afterwards.
The 23-year-old Haute-Savoiee native was 4th in the World Juniors in 2007, and scored five Top 15 finishes during her World Cup career, including two 12th place finishes (Aspen and Cortina en 2009), 13th in the Worlds in Val d'Isère in 2009 and 17th in Are 2007 as well as 12th at the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver.
