Reiner Schonfelder wins Austrian "Dancing Stars"
The eighth season of the Austrian edition of "Dancing Stars" came to an end and this year’s winners were the always cheerful, and perhaps a little eccentric Corinthian skier Rainer Schoenfelder and his partner Manuela Stoeckl. Schoenfleder proved to be the life of the party entertaining the enthusiastic audience with his dancing. The skier, who proved to be a crowd favorite from the beginning was very pleased with his victory.
"Finally I won a race again," the 35-year-old said, sounding relieved.
The Austrian, who won five World Cup races during his career might have been struggling on the ski slopes lately but showed great dancing skills and a true sense for music, fun and good entertainment.
This comes as no surprise to his fans as back in 2007, after losing a bet he hit the slopes in Wengen naked. The stunt earned him one day of community service, a punishment ordered by the Austrian Federation but also a reputation of a fun loving guy among the fans.
The established fan database sure helped carry him and his partner all the way to the final show and eventually to take home the victory!
