Finnish ski racer Marcus Sandell has signed with Fischer for the 2011/2012 season. Moving from Atomic, he will be skiing with skis, bindings and boots provided by the Austrian brand starting with the Finnish nationals at Rovaniemi.

"I have had the chance to test the entire package and it fits my skiing really well. I believe I will have to become an even better and faster skier with Fischer's help. I expect a lot from next season," said Sandell.

Kalle Palander, another Finnish racer, also skis on Fischer. Palander, who's belonged to Fischer's team since 2006, has exerted significant influence on improving Fischer's equipment.

"It is nice to be able to ski in the same team with kalle. I am sure I will learn a lot from him for development of skis and boots. The more I can adapt the equipment to my own needs, the faster can I get," added Sandell

Palander and Sandell will share a service man in the future. They plan to start training for the new season in mid-April.

Besides Sandell and Palander, the top Finnish lady racers Tanja Poutiainen and Sanni Leinonen also ski on Fischer.
