Season over early for Jansrud
SCHLADMING, Austria – During his run on at the World Championships Super G race in Schladming, Norwegian skier Kjetil Jansrud suffered a crash. The skier managed to get up after the fall and ski on his own down to the finish line. A very first evaluation suggested he might not have suffered from an injury, but a painful knee called for further evaluations. Unfortunately the news from the hospital were not good. Jansrud, who won his first World Cup race, the Super-G in Kvitfjell just last March, suffered a torn ligament in his left knee. This means these World Championships and the season ended early for him.
We wish him all the best and a fast return to the slopes!
