Southern Italy serves as training base for Italian ladies

The Italian ladies national ski team has arrived in Molise, located in Southern Italy, for a week of dryland training which will conclude Sunday, June 12. Technical director Raimund Plancker has convened the following athletes: Curtoni Elena, Elena Fanchini, Francesca Marsaglia, Daniela Merighetti, Johanna Schnarf, Verena Stuffer, Camilla Borsotti, Nicole Gius, Giulia Gianesini, Denise Karbon, Lisa Magdalena Agerer and Irene Curtoni. The team will stay in the Aloha Park Hotel and hold training sessions at the sports ground "G. Cannarsa" and the Wellness gym "La Vida" from Termoli. Along with the athletes the technical staff David Fill, Costazza Stefano, Corrado Momo, Alessandro and Roberto Daniel Dorigo.

Unfortunately, the recent snow fall made it impossible to prepare the slopes and prevented the male speed team to go to the Stelvio Pass for a ski conditioning camp until June 10. Racing director Gianluca Rulfi was forced to cancel the planned trip.
