Stefanie Moser injures both knees in training
Austrian speed specialist Stefanie Moser is joining the ranks of the currently injured skiers after a training crash in La Parva, Chile damaged both of her knees. After an examination by team doctor Dr. Steurer and an MRI at the Clinica Alemana in Santiago, the diagnosis is a rupture of the medial collateral in the right knee and a rupture of the meniscus in the left knee, as well as a bone splintering in the right middle finger which has been treated with a splint.
Stefanie Moser will travel home with the team on the upcoming Saturday as planned and will receive treatment by the team physiotherapists in the meantime. Moser is expected to be sidelined for several weeks.
