Head announced that the 31-year-old Austrian speed specialist Georg Streitberger will join the Head team. Streitberger has two World Cup race wins in super-G to his name to date.

Head World Cup Race Manager, Rainer Salzgeber said: “Streiti is a great addition to our team. I have been wanting to add an Austrian to the speed team and here he is now.”

Streitberger added: “In the last couple of years Head has celebrated great results in the speed events. I am happy to be part of this team now and to take the chance to establish myself among the world’s top racers in super-G and downhill.”

Streitberger comes from Maishofen near Saalbach Hinterglemm in the Salzburg region of Austria and made his World Cup debut in 2000 in Bormio, Italy. Alongside his two World Cup wins, Streiti has also been on the podium in a World Cup super-G twice and has a total of 17 World Cup top ten results in downhill (8) and super-G (9).
