Schladming, Austria – Ski fans worldwide are looking forward to the upcoming season highlight: The FIS Alpine Ski Worldchampionship in Schladming, which starts with the first race on Tuesday the 5th of February. But six fans of the Milka Ski Stars are even more excited than all others. They are privileged that the Milka Ski Stars Michaela Kirchgasser, Maria Höfl-Riesch, Tina Maze, Sarka Zahrobska, Tessa Worley and Elena Curtoni race with their designs on the helmets.

The helmet of the Austrian slalom talent Michi Kirchgasser will be embellished by a cute squirrel, for which Michi called out via Facebook.

The German double Olympic champion Maria Höfl-Riesch chose a snow leopard, which also plays an important role in her own brand ‘Maria’. For her this beautiful animal reflects the combination of elegance and speed in an ideal way.

A playful and musical Tina Maze as a pretty cartoon character can be found on her helmet. The title of her song “My way is my decision” – is clearly also her slogan for the races as she seems to be unstoppable successful at the moment.

Also the youngest Milka Ski Star, the Italian Elena Curtoni, was transformed into a cute cartoon character as well and glances with big brown eyes down from her own helmet.

The Czech slalom aspiration and animal lover Sarka Zahrobska choose a sweet elephant waving a Czech colored lucky clover. Tessa Worley also trusts on this very traditional lucky charm and chose a (French) lucky clover.

The big search for luck

Past autumn Milka encouraged fans of the Milka Ski Stars to draw a lucky charm for their favourite athlete. Via user voting the top ten designs were ranked and then the Milka ski stars themselves chose the one, which they liked best.

Through this activity the fans had the great chance to wish their favorite Ski Star luck in a very special way, matching the slogan “Dare to be tender”. On top of this the winners were invited to the official opening ceremony and they could hand over the helmets to Maria, Michi, Tina, Sarka, Elena and Tessa in person.
