Cross-country skiing at world cup ski runs – at no cost
The world elite among the cross-country skiers converges at the starting point every year to commemorate the Davos Nordic. Cross-country skiing at the FIS racing tracks in Flüelatal, where even Dario Cologna & Co compete for world cup points. Or you can leave your imprint along the romantic tributary valleys. You haven’t had enough? Get to the night cross-country ski-run. And the best is: Cross-country skiing at Davos is free! There are no vignette obligations for cross-country skiing.
The trail network in Davos Klosters encompasses over 100 km of classic trails and 46 km of skating trails across all difficulty ratings. They all have one thing in common: They are superbly well prepared. Furthermore, in Davos special dog trails can also be found along the Landwasser.

The Davos Nordic Cross-Country stadium is situated centrally in Davos Dorf (1560 m a.s.l.) - within walking distance to hotels, restaurants and public transport. The well-prepared skiing tracks start from Bünda and reach far into the Flüela side valley.
The capacity of the stadium is about 10.000 spectators and on the tracks approx. another 3.000 can follow the competitions. Follow the race on the ‘Big Screen' and enjoy the very nice atmosphere having a Le Gruyere Fondue or other specialties at the Nordic Lounge.
On the weekend of December 9 & 10, 2017 the world's elite cross-country skiers will be in Davos at the start!
The 17th Daehlie Kids-Event will take place on Saturday 9th December right after the Sprint races in the Stadium. The FIS Cross Country World Cup races aguarantee sporting excellence, excitement and a good atmosphere in the stadium on Bünda in Davos Dorf!

On Friday October 31st 2014 the first Cross-Country ski tracks open in the Destination Davos Klosters
Marit Bjørgen and Anders Gløersen both of Norway have won today's World Cup sprints in Davos, Switzerland. For Bjørgen it was her second win in two days and the 62nd win of her career. For Gløersen it was his first since Holmenkollen in 2010.
Kikkan Randall (USA) has won the last three World Cup sprint freestyle races, including Tour stages. Emil Jönsson (SWE) has the most sprint wins of all male athletes with 16. This includes World Cup, Tour stages and OG/WCh. Jönsson has won eight sprints both in freestyle and in classical style.
