Aino-Kaisa got good experiences from working with many tutors but has decided to train with personal coach in the future.

"Last season was perhaps the mentally toughest ever. Even though I had mentors I worked with I had to train alone to succeed. I'm really proud that I was able to make it out. However, now I want a personal coach. I've been looking for suitable person. The options include both old friends and new contacts, both from Finland and from abroad. I will announce the decision in May, "said Aino-Kaisa Saarinen.

Aino-Kaisa ended her season after Finnish Championships in Kuopio and hasn't skied since.

"I was mentally and physically tired. I had a good, long vacation after the season. At the end of the season I had an infection in my sole, which is now getting better. Doctors gave me a permission this week to run on soft surfaces, but not on asphalt. It doesn´t matter, I never run on asphalt anyway, I prefer running in the woods," revealed Saarinen.

Next Cross-Country season is going to miss World Championships and Winter Olympic Games. Aino Kaisa Saarinen is going to focus on good performance at season highlight of Tour de Ski and also on standing in the FIS Cross-Country World Cup.
