Evi Sachenbacher-Stehle expressed her feelings: "Of course, I would like to continue but it makes no sense to do so when I can see any development. Vancouver is the main goal for us and we must do everything we can to be there in the top form."

Jochen Behle is fully aware of the importance of upcoming Tour de Ski stages. "The 5th Stage on Wednesday is very important. Men's race is over 35 km long of which the first 18 km are only uphill. I am sure a lot can change in the overall Tour standings after tomorrow."
Axel Teichmann knows that nothing is clear and decided in the Tour so far: "It may be so that results of 4 first stages can turn in vain. Even though it is an A to B stage it will highly important."
Tim Tscharnke the best in Prague where he took the 10th place withdraws from the Tour as well. "In a way it is a pitty that I quit. On the other hand that was a plan and my main focus now is the Junior World Championships. At the time being I do not put myself under pressure by thinking about Vancouver. It was fun to race with the Men's Team at World Cups. We get on very well in the team." added Tscharnke.
