In these days the Canadian sprint specialist Chandra Crawford is getting ready for the World Championships in Oslo.

Canada’s Chandra Crawford seized amazing Olympic Gold in Torino in Sprint Free. This World Cup season she scored third place with compatriot Daia Gaiazova in Team Sprint Free in Düsseldorf. In Liberec she secured a decent fifth place in Classical Sprint.

Crawford missed previous World Championships in Liberec two years ago because of a leg injury. This year she is ready to fight for good results in Oslo. “There's a free technique sprint at World Champs this year I'm extra excited to make some moves out there in the event and technique I've had the most success in,” said Crawford on her web page.

Performance of the Canadian team has constantly been on the rise. Alex Harvey sealed U23 World Champion title in 30 km Pursuit in Otepää. Devon Kershaw celebrated first victory at World Cup level, having scored Tour de Ski stage win in sprint free in Toblach. “We are both totally dedicated to our fantastic group of athletes and amazing staff and looking forward to what will be the biggest event of our ski lives to date, explains Crawford.
