Due to a lack of snow the Italian Women's ski team has decided to head north to Kiruna, Sweden and will train there until the opening World Cups in Kuusamo, Finland.  The team will now train in Kiruna from the 17 to 26 of November.  The group consists of Lucia Scardoni, Virginia Topranin De Martin, Mary Piller and Ilaria Debertolis.  A lower leg injury will keep Debora Agreiter from making the trip with her teammates.

The men's team will remain in Italy in the hopes that new snowfall will arrive, or travel to ski near Salzburg, Austria where they have a 6 km loop of ski tracks.
