Sweden’s top Cross-Country skier Charlotte Kalla has decided to switch to Alpina boots and Rottefella bindings. “After I have done a lot of testing I feel absolutely right about the decision,” the Olympic champion said.

“I was testing as long as there was snow in Sundsvall. Then I went to Riksgränsen and Sognfjell in Norway. I decided to try the boots with an open mind. I spent a lot of time in the boots and after having evaluated everything, I think I made a good decision,” Kalla revealed.

Charlotte Kalla is not the only Swedish athlete to switch to Alpina boots. Marcus Hellner changed from Salomon to Alpina before the Olympic season. With Charlotte Kalla there are already eight skiers on the Swedish national 1 team on Alpina; Hanna Eriksson, Marcus Hellner, Charlotte Kalla, Anton Lindblad, Sara Lindborg, Johan Olsson, Stina Nilsson and Emma Wikén.
