Flying Falk to Davos
Coaches Magnus Ingesson and Joakim Abrahamsson and men's sprint coach Arild Monsen are going to Switzerland with their team where the Cross-Country cirscus is moving for another FIS World Cup weekend. Davos received huge amount of snow in the first half of the last week and is getting ready for tough competition programme which starts on Saturday with sprint F and continues with 10km F Ladies and 15km F Men on Sunday.
Hanna Falk may has built up her confidence after taking Saturday's victory in Düsseldorf streets and finished second with her teammate Ida Ingemarsdotter in the team sprint race on Sunday. Anna Haag is back in business in the distance specialists team after having caught a cold when she came home from the World Cup kick-off in Beitostolen (NOR) where she finished third at 10 km F and was a member of the Swedish winning relay.
Emil Jönsson will skip races in Davos and will focus in rehabilitation training and recover 100 % from his grain injury unlike Marcus Hellner will have a busy schedule in Davos as he plans to compete both in sprint and distance competitions. He has fully recovered from the slight cold he caught last Wednesday.Anders Södergren is getting better from his "heavy feeling in my body" and intends to compete in Davos. Anders will join the Swedish team later in the week.
Rickard Andreasson gets another chance in the squad.
The Swedish team traveled to Davos on Monday, where they will train and concentrate on this weekend's races.
