Heavy snowfall has blanketed the Toblach-Dobbiaco area along with Val di Fiemme.  The new snow levels in Val di Fiemme delayed the start of today's Jr World Ski Championship competition to 11:00 CET for ladies and 12:30 CET for men.

After struggling to produce or find enough snow to hold many World Cups this season, it appears now in Toblach there could be an issue of too much snow.  Overnight the area was covered with over 50 cm of snow and it continues to fall.

Before the service teams could begin testing skis for tomorrow's World Cup competition they first had to dig out the waxing trucks.
