Heidi Weng and Finn Haagen Krogh won Scandinavian Cup 2010/11
FIS Scandinavian Cup 2010/11 comprised competitions in Savalen, Torsby, Madona, Joulumae and Keuruu and was dominated by Norwegian athletes.
Shooting star of Norway’s Cross-Country skiing Heidi Weng dominated the Scandinavian Cup standing and collected 630 points. She led the Norwegians skiers who occupied top three spots in the overall standing. Britt Ingunn Nydal won 434 points and took second place. Astrid Oeyre Slind claimed third place with 348 points
Norwegian domination in the Scandinavian is even more significant on the men’s side. Norway’s skiers occupy top seven in the standing. Finn Haagen Krogh won the classification with 521 points clearly ahead of compatriot Hans Petter Lykkja with 350 points. Oeyvind Gloeersen seized third place with 257 points.
Scandinavian Cup winners Weng and Krogh got with their Scandinavian Cup victory ticket to Stockholm and Falun for the World Cup final.
