Therese Johaug of Norway has always dominated the final climb up Alpe Cermis to end the Tour de Ski,  but today one day before that final climb she put in another dominant performance in the 5 km classic in Val di Fiemme.  Johaug bested Tour leader Astrid Jacobsen (NOR) by +14.9 seconds.  For Johaug it was her first win of this Tour de Ski and bodes well for a chance to win it all tomorrow. Despite a tough fight from Jacobsen with today's win Johaug is now just +23.8 second behind heading into tomorrow's final stage.

In third today was Finland's Anne Kylloenen +19.2 back of Johaug. who also maintained her third place position heading into tomorrow +1:31.5.  Kylloenen led a trio of Finn's in the top 5 just +0.5 ahead of Kerttu Niskanen in 4th, and +2.4 ahead of Krista Lahteenmaki in 5th.

From second through to tenth place was separated by just 15.4 seconds. Of the top seven athletes in the finish, Norway had 3 positions and Finland 4.

Therese Johaug (NOR)
It was a great day for me. I have been in a very good shape. My skis were just flying, I had best skis I can ever remember. My plan was to go full speed from the beginning. I like competing in difficult weather conditions. I will try to recover well to be ready for tomorrow’s Final Climb.

Astrid Uhrenholdt Jacobsen (NOR)
I think I wanted the podium more than the other girls. Towards the end I decided I go for it as much as I can. I feel I am in a very good shape and I can compete with almost everybody. I do not think much about the overall result in the Tour de Ski. It’s already a great achievement for me to be in the leading position before the final stage. I am happy that there is a high chance that a Norwegian lady crosses the finish on Alpe Cermis in first place.
