Kristin Stoermer Steira decided to continue her professional racing career.

Norwegian media brought today the information that Kristin Stoermer Steira would go on skiing at the top level until at least World Championships 2013. Steira had a difficult season when she got injured last summer and had problems with her foot. The injury prevented her from training normally in the off-season and she could not take part in classical competitions before Christmas.

Steira, however, overcame all shortcomings and was member of the gold relay in Oslo. Steira's decision was supported by the Norwegian Cross-Country team members Marit Bjoergen, Therese Johaug and co. Steira admits that atmosphere in the team is one of the reasons why she decided to continue.

Steira hopes that her foot is going to be alright and with several weeks without training load in spring she will be able resume training without any problems.
