Lukas Bauer in good summer shape

We are in the middle of the training period and have just started with speed sessions," the coach explained. The Czech he spent ten days in Oberhof.
The Czech ace Lukas Bauer has been struggling with heel injury since the World Cup in Nove Mesto and sit out Sunday's cross running competition. " The heel is not 100% ready yet. Physically it would not have been a problem but I have been struggling in the terrain as the ligaments and tendons aren't that strong," Bauer explained.
The best Czech Cross-Country skier is not afraid the injury could jeopardize the coming World Championships season. "I do not see a problem for the coming season. I am at the similar point of the preparation as in the previous years. I had to only restructure the program," Bauer revealed.
Lukas Bauer is about finish with the fast training unit blogs and will continue with easier workouts. As before he kicked off the preparation on a MTB, continued on roller skis and with easy running. The spring/summer training period unusually featured six days of skiing on the Dachstein glacier in June. "I have not been running that much but I am not behind. As last year I have been training with the Czech team and with Janko Neuber's training group," he concluded.
