Marcus Hellner left no doubts that he is in good shape in Bruskvallarna. He took the lead right from the start and despite a low start number no one could come close to the Olympic champion.

The Swedish Olympic heroes showed good performance in Bruksvallarna's 15 km Free today. Olympic champion Marcus Hellner was superior and left no doubts who was the best.

Runner up Johan Olsson skied most of the race along with Devon Kershaw, last year's winner from Canada. But Kershaw had one lap to go when Johan was finnishing in second place before a surprisingly strong Daniel Rickardsson in third. Canadians Kershaw and Harvey showed decent early season shape and finished fourth and fifth. Sweden's sprint specialist Mats Larsson surprised many by claiming sixth place and may have won a ticket for World Cup season opener in Gällivare. Another sprinter Emil Jönsson took thirteenth and experienced Mathias Fredriksson fourteenth spot.
