Maria Rydqvist will not start in today's relay due to illness. Britta Johansson Norgren is going to replace her in the Swedish quartet.

Maria Rydqvist was the big surprise in the women's pursuit at the Ski World Championships and finished 6th in the 15 km Pursuit. 28-year-old Rydqvist left the Swedish World Champs squad after she had caught cold on Saturday evening.

Rydqvist recovered fast from the illness and on Wednesday she got a green light from doctors to start in the relay. However, this night Rydqvist’s illness returned. “She was OK yesterday when we took the decision about the relay composition,” said ladies coach Rikard Grip at the Swedish press conference earlier this morning. “We still think we have big chances today,” added Grip.

Britta Johansson Norgren will replace Rydqvist at the third leg.
