After successful World Cup events in Szklarska Poreba the Cross-Country action continued today with the World Uphill Trophy. Maurice Manificat (FRA) and Anastasia Slonova (KAZ) were the quickest on the 8.000 m course and celebrate victory.

8.000 m race in Szrenica at Szklarska Poreba was featuring 3700 m total climb with the height difference of 480. French skiers celebreted double victory as Maurice Manificat led the way in 00:30:53. His compatriot Christophe Perillat finished second 9 seconds behind the winner. Slovakia's Martin Bajcicak claimed third place.

On the ladies' Anastasia Slonova of Kazakhstan was the fastest and crossed the finish line in 00:37:17. Masako Ishida has been in great shape lately and lost only 8 seconds on the winner and claimed second place. USA's Liz Stephen went for third place.

Among amateurs, Oleg Kochetkov finished first, Jürg Capol second and Marcin Branas third.
