Military World Skiing Championship: Herrmann and Berger win

Martin Jaks (CZE) and Robin Duvillard (FRA) landed on the podium of 15 km free as Denise Herrmann won ladies' competition at the Military World Skiing Championship in Sodankyla (FIN).

Norwegian biathlete Lars Berger topped the podium as he stopped the clock in the time of 34:35.8. Jaks lost only +2.0 sec to finish in second place. France's Robin Duvillard crossed the finish line +17.4 back and took third place.

Ladies competition over 10 km free was dominated by German athletes. Denise Herrmann led the German to win the competition in 25:31.2. Stefanie Behler finished 2nd +24.2 behind. Coraline Hugue (FRA) took third place +28.5 behind.
