New French names lined up for upcoming weekend in Davos

Several youngsters will be sent to Switzerland to compete for France at the upcoming World Cup weekend in Davos. Manificat and Gaillard to lead the French squad in the distance competition

French coaches have put faith in sprinter who were competition in Düsseldorf. Marion Buillet, Baptiste Gros and Renaud Jay will have a chance to collect more World Cup experience.

Marion Buillet delivered decent performance in Düsseldorf , which was her second World Cup start. Buillet scored 18th fastest time in the qualification of the sprint free and then finished 16th in the sprint.

For the distance race French squad will be relying on two experienced skiers Jean-Marc Gaillard and Maurice Manificat. Manificat showed good shape in Kuusamo. Manificat has been training in Bessans and he hopes to carry on the momentum from Finland.
