Petter Northug jr. biggest favorite

It is clear for Cross-Country fans. Petter Northug jr. will win his first Olympic Gold Medal today on 15 km F Individual start. In the poll which was published on fiscrosscountry.com 32 % of fans voted for Northug jr. Northug skipped all World Cup races after Tour de Ski. He took part in the Norwegian National Champs in Stokke where he won this distance. Norwegian Olympic team did not go to Canmore for the final rehearsal before the Games. Second biggest favorite for gold today is Lukas Bauer (CZE). 15 km Free is not his favourite competition format but Bauer showed extreme strength in Tour de Ski and 15 % of fans believe he will be fastest today. Matti Heikkinen of Finland received 9 % of all votes
