Sofia Bleckur awarded Sixten Jernberg Prize

Swedish athlete Sofia Bleckur was awarded the Sixten Jernberg Prize 2014 to appraise her fantastic, strong season with many good results. 

Sixten Jernberg prize is annually awarded to a Swedish athlete that performed the same determination and fighting spirit as the famous Swedish Cross-Country skier.

Bleckur had a great season with three podium finishes at the Swedish nationals and a strong 9th place in 30 km Mass Start Classic at the World Cup in Oslo. “I am very happy, it’s a great honour to be awarded such prize,” Bleckur said.
