Martin Johnsrud Sundby's victory today in the 10 km free technique competition in Lillehammer, Norway capped a dominating day for the home country.  In the morning event the Norwegian ladies' swept the podium and for the men it was the same story.  Five Norwegians in the top 6 with one Swede (Calle Halfvarsson) in 4th place to break up the clean sweep.  With his win today Sundby recaptures the yellow bib as the Overall World Cup leader, the bib he wore at the end of last season and the year's best.  In second place today was Finn Haagen Krogh +2.2 from the lead.  It was his second podium in two days and now leads the overall mini-tour standings.  In third was Sjur Roethe +6.4 back.  It was his first podium since Canmore in December 2012.

I did an even race. I tried to push hard last 2 km. I tried to collect some seconds on the last uphill where a few skiers were struggling. Everybody must have had tired legs. I am very happy about the victory but it is so nice to see my friends on the podium with me.

Finn Hågen Krogh (NOR)
Since yesterday’s prologue I felt my shape has been very good. I was ready for today. Today it was maybe better than expected. I found a good rhythm from the start. I had very good skis and I felt confident.

Sjur Røthe (NOR)
I’m really happy to be back on the podium. It is even better to be there with my good friends Finn and Martin. The last lap was quite good for me. I think I had a very good finish.
