Six Russian girls fight for Olympic nomination

Russian ladies team has not been finally selected. 6 girls are fighting for Olympic tickets. Olga Rotcheva and Julia Chekaleva are two of the them.
"Olga Rocheva has been on a training camp in Tauplitz Alm. This was planed before the Tour de Ski. She got ill and could not compete for some time. On the other hand Julia (Chekaleva) has been in a good shape recently. Therefore I will make final selection in Rybinsk." explains Russian head coach Yuri Tcharkovski importance of World Cup in Russia.

Everybody has a chance

Olga Rotcheva has recovered from her illness and will be on the start in Rybinsk today." Yes, she recovered from illness and is training now with full throttle. I said to all the girls: "All of you have a chance to get to the Olympic Games. You need only one thing: a good result." added Tcharkovski.
