Passing of Harry Valérien
One of skiing’s most charismatic journalists, Harry Valérien passed away on 12th October 2012 at the age of 88. The German sports journalist and enthusiastic skier became famous in particular as the founder and moderator of the German sports television show “Das Aktuelle Sportstudio”. Starting in 1951, he reported about various Olympic Games for decades with a specialisation in winter sports. FIS sends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Harry Valérien.
