‘Ski Festival with Heart' - motto for Schladming 2013 More than 2'500 participants from Germany, Italy, Liechtenstein, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland, Slovakia, Spain, Hungary, USA and Austria participated in the slogan competition for the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2013 in Schladming. Altogether there were 3'000 suggestions. The winner was selected by a jury headed by President of the Austrian Ski Association Peter Schröcksnadel. The winning suggestion is ‘Ski Festival with Heart.' Coincidentally this motto was also a working suggestion in an internal meeting on 5th April after which a public slogan contest was opened. "I am pleased to hear that this very same slogan was selected by the jury as the winner," said Dr Klaus Leistner, Secretary General of the Austrian Ski Association. "The winner's prize of Euro 1'000 and free entry to the event for two people will in any case be awarded to Bernd Berger from Neusiedl who sent in the suggestion. |
