Elections in Italy: Roda takes charge
Flavio Roda was elected the President of the Italian Ski Association on Saturday at an extraordinary assembly in Modena. Born in Bologna in 1948, Roda received 55,538 votes in the second round, against 40,278 for Lorenzo Conci, as the other candidates withdrew.
The new Federal Council will include Dante Berthod, Reinhard Schmalzl, Guido Carli, Alberto Piccin, Pierluigi Checchi, Marco Mapelli, Rainer Senoner, Gabriella Paruzzi, Gianfranco Martin and Alfons Thoma.
