Ulf Seehase joins FIS as IT Technical Expert
Ulf Seehase (GER, 40) will be joining FIS as IT Technical Expert beginning from Monday, 1st August 2011.
His previous position was as sports and project manager for Swiss Timing Sportservice's Cross-Country Skiing team since 2002, during which time Ulf has travelled with the FIS World Cup, World Ski Championships and Olympic Winter Games working with the hard- and software development and implementation, installation and set up on site and serving as key contact person for the Organizing Committees. Born in Rostock but a long-time resident of Leipzig (GER), Ulf has recently moved to Switzerland to live with his girlfriend Seraina Mischol, a top cross-country skier. Ulf, who speaks English and German and holds a degree in microeconomics (IT and banking) from the Free University of Berlin, will reinforce the current FIS IT team and will collaborate especially on redesign and enhancement of internal programs, multi-platform development, server upgrade and maintenance, FIS Online System (FOU) for the NSAs, improvement of online result management and assist the FIS staff and data service providers on IT topics.
