Austrian General Assembly in St. Wolfgang
While the meeting itself focused on the reports of the President and representatives of each major department, several successful athletes and long-serving officials were honored during an evening ceremony. The awarded athletes included Marcel Hirscher, Klaus Kröll, and Marlies Schild from Alpine Skiing, as well as the successful Ski Jumpers Martin Koch, Andreas Kofler, Thomas Morgenstern and Gregor Schlierenzauer.
President Peter Schröcksnadel provided a review of the successful season for the Austria Ski Pool, followed by a briefing about the status of the preparations for the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Schladming 2013, FIS Snowboard & Freestyle Ski Championships in Kreischberg 2015, and the FIS Ski Flying Championships in Kulm, Bad Mittendorf in 2016.
