Shaun White victorious in X Games skateboarding
The two-time Snowboard halfpipe Olympic gold medalist and many time Winter X Games winner does not take it easy even in the summer. Last week, Shaun White claimed the skateboard title at the Summer X Games.
For the title, White beat his friend and rival, Pierre-Luc Gagnon from Canada, who has won the skateboard vert title for the past three years. He last took gold in 2007.
On his sixth and final run Shaun White was awarded a score of 93, which overtook his rival Pierre-Luc Gagnon's score of 91.66. Gagnon then crashed out. White claimed afterwards it was hit best run ever.
