FIS World Champs – confirm your accreditation now!
The first snow of the 2012/13 winter season has already fallen, and it is just few weeks until the Northern hemisphere Audi FIS Ski World Cup season Opening on the Rettenbach glacier in Sölden (AUT) gets underway.
Altogether, the 2012/2013 winter season will see more than 330 FIS World Cup events and more than 6’500 events in the FIS international calendar across the six FIS disciplines on the Olympic programme.
The undisputed highlights of the season will be the FIS World Championships, beginning with the FIS Snowboard World Championships in Stoneham, Quebec, Canada, from 17th-27th January 2013, followed by the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Schladming, Austria which are set for 5th-17th February 2013. The third FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in the valley of Fiemme in the Trentino region of Italy will follow from 20th February until 3rd March 2013. The championships season will culminate with the FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships in Voss, Norway from 5th-10th March.
