Swiss-Ski closes a successful year
The 107th General Assembly of Swiss-Ski took place on Saturday, 2nd July in Fiesch. Some 200 delegates were present to review the last year which turned out to be a success for the federation both from sporting and financial perspectives.
The accounts were approved with a surplus of some ½ million Swiss francs and an increased capital base of approximately CHF 1.9 million on an annual turnover of more than CHF 42 million.
The General Assembly also named Hans Bigler and Hansruedi Laich as honorary members. Bigler was the long-term chief of recreational sport at Swiss-Ski and continues to be involved in several projects despite retiring last summer. Laich served in various roles both on the regional level as well as at Swiss-Ski over many years.
