Best of luck to all World Snow Day Organizers!
The countdown is in single digits, the snow is falling, venues are getting ready, world records are getting prepared: the 1st World Snow Day is just around the corner.
To children and families preparing to attend events, make sure you pack warm clothes, something warm to drink, a camera, a big smile and the motivation to have fun, as it's time to celebrate.
To our organisers we thank you. When the World Snow Day project began,we at FIS also had no real idea what to expect. After much working, building, supporting and promoting, the first World Snow Day is about to be launched. But without the World Snow Day Organizers and their commitment to the project and extensive efforts, this event would not be possible. World Snow Day seeks create a bright future for snow sports, all the children, their families, the environment and all others associated with snow sports. The Organizers participating in the inaugural World Snow Day have truly upheld these aims and have worked hard to create very special events for the world to enjoy.
On the final days leading to World Snow Day, FIS would like to officially thank all 225 World Snow Day Organizers in 39 countries. We hope that your events go according to the plan and you have a fantastic time!
To those who missed out this year please do not worry, this is the first World Snow Day and it is set to become an incredible annual event!
