Schladming 2013: Official outfits and song
The official outfits of the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Schladming (AUT) have arrived at the Organising Committee. Halti, the Finnish ski clothing company will be equipping the Schladming 2013 including more than 1000 volunteers for the “Ski Festival with Heart”. Just before Christmas, the official outfit containing more than 7000 pieces was delivered ready to equip everyone involved.
This is the fourth consecutive time that Halti has served as the official clothing supplier for FIS Alpine World Ski Championships. Previously, it was engaged in Åre 2007, Val d’Isère 2009 and Garmisch-Partenkirchen 2011.
Official song “Go for Gold” released
In addition to the outfits, the official song of the Schladming 2013 World Championships “Go for Gold” has now been released. It was presented to thousands of screaming Alpine Skiing fans during the ladies FIS World Cup race in Semmering (AUT) on 28th and 29th December.
Austria’s famous singer Andreas Gabalier is performing the song consisting of modern dance beats and electro vibes combined with Styrian harmonica. Live on-site, he will be cheered by masses of spectators during the World Championships held in less than 35 days. The song will be officially available as of 1st February 2013.
