Online registration for FIS Season Accreditation opens

Online registration for FIS Season Accreditation opens

The online registration tool for the FIS Season Accreditation for the 2012/13 season will open on 15th July 2012 for the Audi FIS Ski World Cup and the FIS Cross-Country World Cup presented by Viessmann. No FIS Season Accreditations will be issued for any of the other FIS World Cup tours this season due to a process restructuring.

The FIS Season Accreditation (SA) is for the use of FIS Member National Ski Associations (NSA) officials and representatives of the Ski Industry. For Audi FIS Ski World Cup, a FIS Season Accreditation is obligatory for all team members as part of the official team entry registration (except athletes). For FIS Cross-Country World Cup presented by Viessmann, all NSA team members and Ski Industry partners who may be continuously on on-site should register. Both the online FIS Season Accreditation and Official Entry systems may be accessed via the Member Section on the FIS website.

Please also note that due to on-going work to develop the service, there will be no FIS Season Accreditations issued for the media during the 2012/13 season, with the exception of specialist photographers seeking on-course access at the Audi FIS Ski World Cup events.

The SA enables its holder to access pre-defined, controlled areas of the venue at the FIS World Cup event they attend during the 2012/13 season. Each holder of a FIS Season Accreditation also has a personalized code and the nominal fee charged includes additional accident insurance. However, registration directly with the Organizing Committee is still a  requirement to enable the Organizer to confirm the number of persons attending their event, arrange accommodation, etc.

The FIS Season Accreditation 2012/13 is only valid for FIS World Cup events and not the FIS World Championships where Organizing Committee manages and controls their own accreditation system. Therefore individuals planning to attend must apply for an accreditation directly with the FIS World Championship Organizing Committee.

Registration for the FIS Season Accreditation is only available online. The deadline for the National Ski Associations and the Ski Industry to register their staff is 31st August 2012. For more information about who is eligible for the FIS season accreditation and to register, please click here.
