New Presenting Sponsor for Four Hills Tournament: Engelbert Strauss enters Ski Jumping
Engelberg strauss, the functional work-wear manufacturer, is the new Presenting Partner of the Four-Hills-Tournament in Ski Jumping. Infront Sports & Media, the official marketing partner of the series, has signed a contract with the industry leader through to 2014.
Due to its popularity and reach, the “Vierschanzentournee” provides Engelbert Strauss with an excellent platform to effectively position the brand in Central European core markets. Karl-Heinz Brenner, Marketing Director at engelbert strauss, commented: “With the move into skiing we want to underline our expertise in weather protection and functional clothing.” At the moment the company is promoting its new winter collection for extreme work in ice and snow.
As main partner, the brand will receive an extensive advertising presence at all four venues in Oberstdorf, Garmisch-Partenkirchen (both GER), Innsbruck and Bischofshofen (both AUT), including branding on the athlete’s bib numbers as well as LED and rotating advertising board exposure. Furthermore, elements of Engelbert Strauss' logo will be incorporated into that of the Vierschanzentournee tour logo.
The commitment of Engelbert Strauss complements its existing sports sponsorship engagements in football (German Cup and National team matches) and motor sports (eni FIM Superbike World Championship).
